removing the non stick coating from inside a cook pot?

So i foolish burnt my mors kochanski pot i was lucky enough to have got a while back

Does anyone know how i can remove the remaining non stick coating from the inside?

is it worth finding somewhere local to bead blast it or just give it some with a brillo pad

What type of non stick is it? A couple of pics might help too ~ it might not need removing (but, if you're asking, it might be because you've done a proper job :Wow: :notworthy )

i blame the stupid lentils in the stew....

Take it to an alloy wheels refurbisher and as them to use the blast gun on it, the one they use to take the paint etc from old alloys.

What you need doing, taking off a top coat and getting back to the alloy, is pretty much what they do all day long.

Nowt to do with leaving it on too high a heat for too long then



De-laminating non-stick whist cooking wet food is a genuine skill though :notworthy

i think the amount of port i consumed with my associate might have been an influencing factor also

You can send the pot of to me da, he's managed to scrub of 'all the ugly black stuff' on each and every pot in my kitchen.
I think he used a brillo-pad and something not unlike T-cut.
