You might want to make sure the cutting edge is not greater than 3" in length though as they generally are from new, if wanting to carry as edc without good reason as well as for bushy excursions.

I would convex it sooner than try and scandi it - both are strong grinds and suit woodwork very well. ut if your dead set on a friction folder with a scandi blade you could try Duncan at www.dorsetwoodlandblades.co.uk

he made some of these a while back and they fit the svord scales - goes by the name FGYT on here and BB
