Recycling gas cylinders

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but as a newbie to gas powered stoves, I know these can be added to the recycling bins once flattened, but has anyone made another use for them.

I've seen several adapted into cauldrons for cooking.

One of which is Waylands cook set

That reminds me... I saw a helium bottle knocking around out by the side of the road the other day. Someone had put it to be collected with their recycling and it wasn't taken. I might see if I can cheese the wife off and bring it home to work on :lmao:

You can buy adaptors to refill them from bigger propane or butane tanks but to be honest I don't feel safe doing so. Remember Wilkinson's have the tri gas mix cans on offer, two for £6 so worth stocking up at that price.
