cheers in advance scotty

MSR Pocket Rocket is an Ok stove all be it with a very focused flame.

Most stoves that take 'screw on' canisters are designed to accept canisters made to EN417 standard.

I'd personally avoid anything using a Camping Gaz connection system. Not that there is anything wrong with em but the cannisters can be more difficult to find.

The Webtex warrior also takes EN417 canisters and is a clone of the Pocket rocket. It's less expensive but not as well built as the real thing.

I use an MSR Pocket Rocket clone called the Intensity sold by Gelert. It's a great little stove, very light and strong.
The flame head is a bit narrow which can lead to a hot spot in a wide base pot but I've not had a problem with this.
Design differences are very minor so a quick search for the spec's the Rocket should give you a good idea of the Intensity.
The Gelert stove also comes with a neat little plastic box which prevents the stove legs poking holes in you rucksack.
