Re-proofing my kit

Hi, hoping to get some feedback on this. I have recently purchased some Nikwax techwash and TX direct for re-proofing my goretex paclite, no worries there and it should be fine. However I have a Rab Photon soft shell, which is Pertex with Primaloft insulation. The photon jacket is water repellent, so I'd like to reproof this too, using the techwash, it should be okay, but I just thought I'd check here, see if anyone has any advice, don't want to ruin the primaloft!?!

The care instructions for Primaloft are pretty straight forward http://www.primaloft.com/outdoor_EG/care.html So I would say you should be OK.

I always give my outdoor jackets a wash in Tech Wash first then follow this with TX Direct.

Cheers, I agree with you that it should be okay, just that someone mentioned using the Nikwax insulation specific wash, but all I could see was one for down, which primaloft isn't!

Yeah, I've used the down wash for a down gillet, worked well, but not for Primaloft. If you are still concerned I'd recommend taking the jacket to Blacks or similar and ask their advice. All the best
