Don't know if you lot know this already but "pets at home" are selling great big rawhide candy canes for dogs.

-a good 18" - 24" long. - perfect for all of you out there wanting long bits of rawhide.

I've been using these dog chews for a while for a number of projects,
it is worth keeping in mind that while you do get a good-sized piece of hide from each chew, they are often filled with off-cuts and trimmings that are harder to find a use for.
