Raptor in the garden...

I thought this might interest you. I was sat at my desk at 7am going through some emails before work, when I noticed a flash of white out the window, and some wood pigeon feathers came floating down. Out on the lawn was a sparrowhawk enjoying his breakfast...

This was half of an adult pair that have been nesting at the end of the garden that he'd nailed in mid-air.

i'll second that shewie... local cats usually get the hosepipe it reaches further

Well male is 2/3 the size and a pigeon is really too big for him he also has gray back and orange barred breast.
