Rabbit for tea (with squirrel during the cooking)

I bagged a couple of rabbits and a tree rat so decided to have a cook up.

Rabbit 1:
Traditional type stew - jointed and rolled in seasoned flour, browned and added to onions, sweded, carrots, parsnip and white wine (few herbs of course)

Rabbit 2:
Braised in red wine with redcurrent jelly - with a few cloves, a cinnamon stick, rosemary and thyme

All of the above are waiting till I get home as they always taste the best the day after. I will share with the kids though.......

Tree rat was cut into small chucks, dusted in flour and Cajun spice and fried for munching on during cooking.
