Just bought and got (last night) the superb bargain of a Rab Ridge Raider Hooped Bivi from Barn Owl. Just as he stated its in perfect condition and I struggle to detect if it has been used. Its definitely of Rab quality.

http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52428

Unfortunately I was looking for a bivi that was slightly longer to fit my lanky frame and my kit. I also have the habit of sleeping with my arms above my head. So I reckon if you are under 6ft 2 inches and did not sleep with your arms above your head then it would be positively roomy. The width/girth of the bag is great. If truth be told I don't know if a hoop or two does it for me either...although I know that some people swear by them :D

So...are there any slightly shorter people out there (under 6'3") who who like the latest gas exchange event fabric for £100 then drop us a line. As you know - it costs new between £170 and £200 (RRP) plus P&P - so you would be getting a gucci bit of kit for a snip of its new price.

I can put my hand on my heart and say its a lovely piece of kit and someone will love it. Its a rather nice browny green too. I am sorry that I have to pass it on quickly. But otherwise it will languish at the back of my kit cupboard.....

First one to PM secures.

p.s. - I noticed that you can also use it without the hoop quite well - so it gives you the option.

just a question as i very interested. the specs say it over 2.1m so plenty big enough for my 6ft5 but you say you struggle. I dont wish to put inside but dont wont to be squashed either. so are the spec right or is it just not usuable length?

Okay...this is still up for sale. After a bit of messing about on my part! :11doh:

I've double checked the condition and its as mint as far as I can see. No wear and tear, all material and seams and hoop in A1 condition. Someone would be getting the latest Gas Exchange Bivi for near half price for something that is as far as I can see it 'as new' and nothing wrong with it :Wow:

£100 in P&P......gotta shift it on :D

First Pm secures...

Any pictures of it set up please:)

Um...no....sorry. Just unrolled it and set up in bedroom last night to get into it then packed it away. Piccies are as Barn Owl posted which are in the first link. Basically it looks just like the piccies in the catalogues....https://www.cotswoldoutdoor.com/web...MenuLstIndex=-1&2919-selectedMenuLstIndex2=-1 so putting it up will tell you nothing new I am afraid. Everyone on here should no now that I am a pretty honest sort and accurate in my description of condition of kit (and how fussy I am!)
