Hello everyone. This is my diy top quilt. It's made from argon.67 fabric and filled with 200 grams of 860cuin down. The baffles follow a karo step structure and are ~4 cm in height.
Since i wanted it to be flexible in design (it goes with an underquilt that can be combined for floor use as well), and as light as possible, i just sew 3 pairs of (elastic) straps at toe, knee and neck height and came up with these elastic cord/button pieces, which are completely separate, so the quilt goes back to a flat, rectangular shape. Two tankas and a shock cord cinch the foot end. Adjusting the length of the cords a sleeping pad can be attached under it when on the floor.
I just finished it so it's still on test but i'm happy so far. Must be around 300 grams.
