Hi

sorry not to introduce myself in details but, right now, I only plan to be a passer by.

So, here is my question: I've received a premac filter today by mail. Looks just fine but when I shake I hear a moving part in the lower part (the one with pipes), as if there were some kind of plastic or metal ball inside.

Is that normal, can I fix it, should I ask for a replacement?

I'm waiting for your answers.

Thanks

Actually, it isn't in the rods, it is definitely in the lower part (I try dissambly, iodine rod does rattle a little, but lower part rattles a lot more).

The rattle is because it has a small metal ball in the non return valve to let it suck and blow so to speak. It is perfectly normal and if it stops rattling you have got a problem!!!
