PreMac - Great service

I tend to hear a lot of folk bitching and moaning about poor service from companies theses days - We've all done it on occasion, I know I have! So it's nice to be able to say something good about someone for a change.

I have an very old model MVP pre mac filter. It's seen a fair bit of use over the years and after Texa the lock nut on the piston gave up and split. So I emailed pre mac and asked if I could buy a spare piston assembly. I got a very nice email back and quickly from them asking which model etc.. Long story short, neither of use could be sure which one it was and I couldn't remember! So I sent it to them so they could figure it out. Once they had it they also spotted that the hose nipple was leaking too and gave me a couple of really good options - discounted new unit or a repair. Well, it arrived back today - new piston assembly, cleaned and tested with the sweetest fix to the leaking hose nipple. Cost? Absolutely nothing, not even postage. I think that's excellent service and Stewart Knox at PreMac is on my xmas card list now. :You_Rock_

Pre mac are a fantastic company to deal with, I cant fault them at all on customer service. I had a problem with the rubber on the hose perishing and they sent out a new one free of charge no questions or quibbles ..... great bunch to deal with.

Does that mean you no longer have a PreMac that gives you a refreshing mist of water in the face while you're pumping anymore!!!? :(

Good to hear that they went to such efforts for you!

Yep, Stewart is a top bloke! I organised the Pre-Mac GB and he was very patient and helpfull to anwer all my questions by mail and phone. A lot of companies can learn from Pre-Mac customer service!
