Hi All,
Got some of the screwfix insulation yesterday, I have to say it looks very flimsy, there were even a couple of tears in the silver coating on unpacking, not on the outside of the roll either. Not sure how many "in and out of the bergans" it would survive. Was expecting more of a double layer bubble wrap plus an outer bi-layer.
I'm getting on with the bedmat model, currently undecided which mat to use, the cheapo "rescued from a skip probably cost about 50p when new" roll, or the "missus's old aerobics stretchy type roll" or the knacked old white/green artic stuff. Hmmmm, decisions, decisions
Now on the look out for the reflectix style material, also thinking that hbm will be better to use than metallic tape due to lower thermal conductivity, although this will probably only come into effect should there be a gap in the insulation
Cheers, thanks again, Richie
PS CrosslandKelly, it's quite a funny cartoon, give it a try
