posting pictures on a thread?

in simple terms can somebody Please explain an easy way for me to post pictures on a thread? I have a flikr account & group permissions for images are on...
this code seems to be lacking

Mesquite thanks for your help but something is lacking it's just not happening for me! either that or maybe I am just thick! also thinking could group administration be the problem? (highlighted in red)

Get a picture up on Flickr and look below and to the right of it. There is a small white arrow. Click the arrow

A dialog box opens with a few buttons. Click on BBcode.

Now hit the drop down box and change the size to 640*480 or thereabouts.

Copy the big string of text in the box and paste it into the thread.

That's it.
