Has anyone ever used one of these stoves? I have researched the littlbug (shipping from US makes it too expensive) and the firespout http://www.occuk.co.uk/outdoor/index.htm [/URL] . Pocket stove seems a good alternative.

A Trangia burner works fine in it so you setup would be fine. This one has a new home to go to now or you could have had it. I think it came from the states with some other bits and bobs I got a couple of years ago, can't remember to be honest.One should convert to a small wood burner without much trouble I would think, you may have to enlarge the hole in the back plate. It does fold flat, and is light enough to carry.
PS, I made a cardboard/candle wax burner in a tuna can, hot little bugger it was too
