Plant ID

Hi,

I've sown some wild flower seeds in the garden and there's this monster of a plant grown currently just below 4ft tall. Can any one ID it for me please. It's most probably a weed, the other day I pulled a Himalayan knotweed from the same area.

I don't want to leave it shed its seeds if its weed.

It's one of the fathen/good king henry's/ chenopodiums/ goosefoots I reckon.

If it is, they're good eating

Have a google for images and compare them to what you have there.

That's exactly where the plant has gone, chicken food. The plant was a bit too bit and blocking in my rhudbekia(spelling)

Did you try eating some of it yourself ?
It's edible raw and cooked, and it's quite tasty
