I went foraging for wild garlic today, and on almost every grassy bank and path verge was covered by what looked like the young leaves of sweet cicely:

But the problem is, im sure its not sweet cicely! As I can not recall any mature sweet cicely growing in the area last summer! The plant is a low creeping type plant and sprawls everywhere.

I really must buy a digital camera - its so common im sure someone could ID it in a second! Any ideas??
