I have searched for something relevant but if I've missed it then I apologise.
We camped up at Loch Dee a few months ago and we are planning a return trip next month but this time hoping for the chance to fish for Pike. Some of the information I have found has said that Pike fishing with dead bait is allowed, while other sources are saying that it is fly fishing only. Does anybody have a source for up to date rules?
Also am I right to assume that the tackle shop at the top of Newton Stewart sells permits?
