Photobucket uploads getting stuck at 94%

Has anyone else ever had uploads getting stuck at 94%?

It's doing my head in

I'm running XP SP3 with Google Chrome v15.0.874.121 m, I've cleared my cache and restarted my PC, still no joy

I've a feeling it might be Java so I'll look for some updates

you using the bulk uploader? TBH i've never been able to get this to work. always opt'd for the normal one.

Nah just the normal one mate, I've updated Java and job's a good one now

Rich, they've been messing around with their servers for a few weeks now at various times of the day (and night!) as I think they had a few problems left over after they made the change to the new front end.
I never use the bulk uploader as, frankly, it doesn't work. So even though you don't use it, don't be tempted to try it as it's as flaky as hell. I suggest that the problem is their end and not yours. However...just to be on the safe side, how much actual memory have you got free? (not Ram but storage) and how many pics are you trying to upload. have you checked to make sure that all the pics are under the limit (5mb?) as I have fallen fowl of this once or twice.

XP is stable enough (better than Vista or Win7 IMO) so can't see a prob there

Never mind mate, I just read the previous post and you've sorted it....still...did I say don't be tempted to use the bulk uploader?

I just tried it, you have to update your Java then it works.

A good while back I started to consider that PB was a vile contrivance designed to cause me stress. I have rare access to my own pics and I see (about) 5 - 10% of all pics hosted by their site as a pic unavailable

~ so I keep missing out on Betty'e exploits
