I also had success this morning with a new mouse trap - due to tremors setting an old style trap is very difficult for me and I don't have a cat so I got one of the electronic traps - put a few crumbs leading into the trap's zapper, close it up and turn it on and this morning one less mouse in the world

Whilst my cats may catch the odd little creature, I do wish they would eat all of it rather than leaving bits lying round the floor.

If you look very carefully you can see the barrel of "Isolde's" 20 gauge, sneaking through the doorway, just about to control that pest

Hmmm, next doors white cat is fairly doing it's bit keeping the local rodent population in check, but I caught it trying to sneak up on my little white barred spuggie yesterday. It jumped out of it's skin when I clapped my hands behind it. I like that wee spug, she's getting pretty brave in her dealings with me and her family helps keep the insects down around the outside of the house.
