And tents/sleeping bags.

Got one of those "Sheilas Maid" things above the woodburner here as well. Not the tidiest iten in a house but its efficient.

the hides are currently now spending some time in a tumbledryer at my mums

Only one word of advice on this; don't use the washing machine to do a deerskin if it has screwed or riveted on baffles inside the drum. Hair gets stuck under them and takes beyond ages to come out.
One can get very fed up of deer hair in every thing

It does make a beautifully soft skin though with loads of handcream

come out alright
1 grain on hide (grain tan as i've seen it called on instagram which i really like as a term)
1 traditional buckskin
1 experiment of buckskin and grain tan

now to rig up a smoking set up smoke em and then begin the making of stuff
