Hi everybody,
I have dozen of knives, Busse, Randall, Scrap Yard, Swamp Rat, Benchmade, Spyderco, Fox, Extrema Ratio, ecc..... never calculate the grand total, but for sure thousands of euros.
Today I would like to show you the ultimate bushcraft edged tool: Pennato (trad: Featherly).
Any specs:
Lenght OAL: 33 cm
Blade lenght: 19,5 cm
Blade thickness: 3,5 mm (more or less)
Blade steel: unknow
Handle: leather
Wheight: 450 grams
This tools was used for centuries by farmers and woodmens here in Italy for all what they need in woods and outdoors. This particular one it's my country of origin, Tuscany, and is 20 years old. It's cheaper, more or less 20 euros, easy to resharpen, comfortable, robust, and very very effective both on fresh and hard wood. I'll post a complete review on my next 3D.
Ciao, Alfredo
PS please post similar tools from your countries, I'm courious to see!
