how waterproof is it? am interested

It isn't waterproof at all, not that kind of garment. Its a directional fleece.

It is made of the same material as my Mountain Vent Pullon which I find a great garment for wearing when its a bit damp. Layer it under a windshirt and you have a DIY version of Buffalo / Mardale but in a thinner package. Not so warm, but not so hot either. I have worn mine with a Paramo Katmai shirt over the top when canoeing in steady drizzle and been fairly dry and certainly warm all day. The material is thinner than Polartec 200, less loft, but wicks much better and is a touch more wind resistant.
