Do you mean the lanyard knot Dave? Only asking as Gary showed me that one but he didn't call it a finishing knot.

I never really liked the idea of having lots of things hanging of my keychain, however now that I have year old daughter I have discovered that the more guff you attach to it the more entertaining she finds it, paracord is especially popular.

Thread title drew you in though, didn't it LOL! I used to go light with my keychain; now I make sure its not gonna get lost. I can remove individual items from the carabiner if necessary to go light.
