I saw this while avoiding revision and thought of hammocks. Not quite climbing tape but thought it was a bit of a bargain at £2.75. Shipping puts it up a bit as always.

Also can anyone suggest a use of a parachute drag chute they do for 2.99

maybe make a storage/insulation section underneath the hammock? I want one just because its 2.99  .

if waterproofed with wax it could be used as a wter collector though your tarp would be more efficient.

how about a water filter?

hanging stroage for boots or bag?

to make a sunshade/umbrella?

i like the tape i've seen some before attached to a parachute and it is very simular to climing tape, i would immagine it is quite strong enough to use as the main cord for a hammock, prehaps overkill for a tarp.

I've used there mail order service and have to say its was good. But there £4.99 minimum charge makes small items like this that weigh hardly anything a bit of a rip off.
