Hiya
A few days ago I posted a thread asking if anyone could make me a paddle strop and long story short it received mixed replies!!
However a very generous forum member seemed to know exactly what I wanted and posted me one...it's spot on, thank you again.
I glued some 2mm leather to it and left it squashed between some mdf in vice overnight.
Slips in my day ruck perfect, and most importantly fits inside the radius of my Dave Budd crook, other than a scorp it's the tightest curved crook I have.
It put a keen edge back on after a few strokes.
I'll likely load one side and the curve with a compound.

Good. And you kept the leather thin. I see now what the shape needs to be.
I've used a bar of Chromium Oxide & Aluminum Oxide for many years. No complaints at all.
The CrOx is about 0.5 micron, the AlOx is about 0.25 micron.
