I've heard a bit about a knife called a Pack Pal but despite a short googling frenzy I still can't find out anything about it.

Any one got a link or pics?

it's a hand made knife made by alan blade. iirc his site is down as he's trying to catch up with a bit of a backlog.
try searching british blades, there is a lot of info about the situation there.
great knives though, magikelly has at least one of them. very nice.

Alan isn't taking any orders at the moment as he has quite a sizeable backlog (I've been waiting over a year for one) so your best bet is to check the BB's classifieds as they sometimes come up for around £50.
