Many thanks for the add. I am a High School ( Secondary school in old money ) Farm and Forest School leader in sunny Bolton which is a very interesting and varied job. We actually have a farm and land on the school site to carry out many outdoor activities and I hope by joining this group I can advance the variety of activities to the youngsters I work with.
I recently passed my level 3 Forest School Leader training but like most things,passing is only the beginning and I would like to learn more.
There is a very small copse on site and I am planting more native trees and various Willow species to harvest and use in Forest school
The farm on site is not just Rabbits and Guinea pigs ! We have two Donkey's, Two Sheep, three Goats, hens and white geese........oh and lots of students !
