Ive just realized i gave away my entire stash of the little rubber rings found all over the countryside after lambing. Incredibly useful little things and not just for shortening appendages. Im sure someone here must know a source I tried a local farm supplies place but they deal in bags of 100s and im only after a dozen at most.

Any suggestion as allways would be appreciated.

If you only want a dozen or so, try chopping off half inch slices off the fingers of an old pair of Marigold rubber gloves. They stretch well and are really strong. Cutting round the cuff will also give you nice big rubber bands as wide as you want to cut them.
