Yes it does have a variable flame control and it will run on White gas , Paraffin , Diesel fuels,
Aviation fuel , Auto fuel, Rape seed fuel ,

It dont mention been able to run it on meths in the optimus instructions so it must be no .

meths is a no no with this. Why would you wawnt to use meths - it is a poor performer and very expensive compaired to keros etc.
