The banks of the Deveron.
I have recently become rather attached to my Opinel knives. I bought one for my father for fathers day and my wife's father got a pruning one. Both had belt pouches.
I recently went on a timber frame course and when the instructor got his out of his pocket he went home with a pouch too. I also like a bit of contrast in my leather, so have lots of coloured threads.

That's really nice.
I like the contrast stitching. It seems more in keeping with an opinel to me, I don't know why, maybe it's a bit more fun.

How high does it sit on your belt with that loop, it looks quite low, which I like. Nothing more annoying than a knife/saw digging in to your side.

How high does it sit on your belt with that loop, it looks quite low, which I like. Nothing more annoying than a knife/saw digging in to your side.
I could easily move the belt loop up, and add a D ring. I think being a design teacher, I am always iterating and tweaking design as I see or take advice about improvements. It's great fun.
