OPen fire in a Tentipi

Hi all,

I've almost saved enough money to buy Tentipi Varrie (gave up saving in the end, and re-mortgaged the house ) and have a quick question on heating them.

When you use a stove, obviously the heat source is in the middle of the tent because the stove is part of the central pole. But where do you site an open fire, when you have the standard pole in the middle of the tent? Presumably it has to go half way between the centre pole and the canvas???

Just site it 6" or so away from the pole, assuming you're using something like a firebox.
