one for mr Budd

hear's a seax i made a little while ago, inspired by dave budd's knives, i said i would show some work

the steel is a medium carbon, nice and springy but a bit soft though it took more than 4 pieces of 4"x 3/4" to stop it shaving.
the handle is red deer antler and plumb burl 'stabilized' with epoxy.

I have a damscus saex blade I bought of a smith (Smed-Jan) over 10 years ago. I must look at the moose antler supply and get it sorted.
