Messy!
Not the very worst place to get a colony - but a bit of a shock coming home to that.
I have had half a dozen starlings, tens of thousands of flies, but, thankfully, never a swarm so far!

I'm not frightened of bees, but I'd have had serious second and third thoughts about dealing with that lot
and I hate sticky, I really hate sticky hands.
Ah, at least it was just honey, sticky but clean, iimmc. Not an overflowing sewer sort of thing
