Old Town Pack Bargain on SoTP

I owned one of these boats for about a year and as a "grab and go" boat, it was fantastic. Not a touring or white water boat, just a light weight pottering tool, best suited to canals, lakes, slower rivers etc.

No connection with the seller, just highlighting a potential bargain.

I miss my old Pack, sadly I've no room for a second boat in the garden and the mrs would likely flip anyway

I certainly miss the "grab and go" factor Rich. I could literally pick the boat up one handed, pop it on my shoulder, strap it to the car and away. Just as easy at the other end too. The drawback for me, was the lack of speed and tracking due to it's short length and fairly wide beam.

Great boat, but as I move from flat / touring water to moving I'll stick with my Apache for flat / touring and the indestructible ranger 14 till I learn to avoid rocks, seals, mermaids and bridges.

As Rancid said, great bargain.
