Oh no! not another pouch!

Most of Saturday spent on this thing.

Had to make it without benefit of tape measure.
Went like a dream, except for having to split it all apart, re-cut and re-scribe, then restitch. It was just a bit too big at first.

I was after an aged and battered looking finish.
Pity that the kids are grown-up, they could,ve just played with it for a half-hour.

So, I just finshed with beeswax in turps.
It rattles like a bag of hammers; leather too thick and hard, need to soften it.

Hanging, is just with belt-slits at the back.

What do you think.

Thanks all the same, but personally I aint too keen on its visuals...doubt if I,ll be doing another.

Apart from being far too big, originally, I also decided I had to replace the front panel; for I,d been Dremel-ing and found that it wasn,t suited to tooling. Ah well, thats learning!


Final size, according to wifes sewing tape, is ...7 and half inches by 6 and half inches by 1 and half.
No prizes for guessing who dosn,t know how to do fractions on the keyboard
