Thanks for the inspiration, i seen your picture and my developing carving brain juggled with how i would if i had a go and then i got stuck in, it looks much better now and i'll be finished it by tomorrow afternoon, just waiting for daybreak so i have some decent light for using the knife, I missed my chance today to carve in the good light

Wood carving trick is to wrap the shaft with a spiral strip of masking tape.
Pencil lines in the gaps for the highs or a fine knife line for the lows.

That's it, just get stuck in and have a go. Most of the time you'll figure it out and learn a lot from it. It'll be nice to see it once it's finished you'll have to make a post
