For your consideration, a bit of a Frankenpot ... I was lured in by its uniqueness and character but as I've not used it I think it deserves a new home

I'm pretty sure this is a knock together set ~ a standard mess tin (7" x 5" x 2.25") as the base pan with the lid purchased separately ~ certainly not a handle type I'd seen before.
From above.
To take apart first slide the lid handle out ...
And then fold out the base pan handle.
But leaving them in situ allows the handles to form a hinge .
Originally I had though that this might have been a home modified lid but with information gained from Dark Horse Dave, it would seem that the lid is unmodified and possibly from Survival Aids.
So, all in all, a bit of an unusual set up .
