Not sure if its on at all branches but my local Borders is selling off all its O/S maps at a 50% discount. Good discounts on all books as well.

I think Borders have gone up the spout haven't they ? I heard Mr Waterstone on the radio the other day discussing why he thought they'd failed.

Yes Borders has gone belly up, not clear yet if stores are going to close or if someone else will take them on. Shame I liked Borders, will loom out for some other bargains

Local branch seems is clearing all its shelves of books so does not look like a different buyer has been found.

Me and the missus will be hitting our local later, me for O/S maps her for Radiography and Anatomy books.
makes me wonder actually as the bookstore outside liv uni is actually a borders and they only deal in those really expensive text books, wonder if that'll stay on or if waterstones will re-fill it with harry potter and pulp fiction books?
