Another Beech spoon im afraid, trying to keep myself occupied physically and mentally whilst i wait for my surgeries.
Like the others i've posted recently this one is again from a Chinese blank, soaked it in hot water for 24 hours which makes the wood carvable, roughed it out yesterday and spent a couple of hours spread over this morning and this afternoon finishing it off, although i will still find bits to fettle - i always do.
Off the knife finish on the bowl surfaces, the handle and neck was off the knife, but i then burnished them with the back of my carving knife.
