I redeemed my 40th birthday gift today... racing in a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Ferrari F430.... amazing experience!

Spent the day with a grin ear to ear... one to remember.





Still buzzing from it... but I'm back to having a blitz on making stuff from leather.

Looks like a cracking day out Dewi. I take it with the weather you get a "W" for wet on your lap time. Which of the two cars did you prefer?

The weather thankfully stayed dry, but the cross wind on the track was a bit brutal.

Thoroughly enjoyed both cars. The Lambo was a bit easier to drive and a bit more forgiving if you messed up a corner. The Ferrari, unbelievable acceleration and a much more refined drive... but had it been wet, I'd have definitely spun off the track as I made a couple of errors coming out of the same corner.

Felt a little odd being allowed to just jump into these cars and drive them... but a lap or two in, I'd forgotten all about that as I was too busy keeping the car on the road.
