Planning for December 5th. Quick overnighter in the snow in my usual spot. Any members of the group or anyone that's interested welcome up to a group size of about 6. Cost of the camp is a pack of seeds

How far is your spot from Newcastle city centre? What type of seeds?

Prayers and smoke for Mick and crew camping on a tributary of the River Tyne right now in torrential rain and 50mph+ winds, they have already moved to higher ground and in the last 24hrs we have broken the north east 24hr rainfall record with more to come

Little check in. It seems the worst of the wind is gone. Time for some relaxing now. A hobo stove served perfect purpose. It's all part of the game. Gotta love it.

Like I say it's not cold per se. Apart from Carl who has been let down by gear in a big way
