Update​

Due to the recent terrible news at the sudden loss of our friend 'lucky Lee', this meet will be dedicated to him. as a former regular, he was well liked and kept us amused with his antics, notably he was always cold and would burn anything! in his memory we will have a roaring fire to keep his spirit warm, and on a more practical level I will be passing the hat to help his family.

As before there is no real agenda to these meets apart from enjoying our time outdoors, however if anyone does need instruction on a particular aspect, please ask either here or at the meet. There is a wealth of combined knowledge available backed up with practical experience.

Small individual fires are permitted off the ground, no live wood to be used there is plenty of dead standing, windblown to be had. All you need to know about North Wood is here
