I went to North wood today for a look at the pitches and to decide where we will be this meet. It will be top/north/farm end again. it was a nice day for a few hours bimble, collecting bits of wood for carving and generally enjoying the solitude.

The Bluebells are starting to flourish but there are loads to come out yet, and the wood is greening up nicely. here's a couple of pic's I took












oh and while having a mooch around, I found this nice Fallow deer antler, not from this year's rut but still in great shape!

I wanted to make this meet but am away for a week and don't get back till the Thursday. Its a boys week away so packing up and disappearing for the weekend the day after I get back would not go down well.
