Okay that's awesome.
I did look at the one next month thinking it'll be around the same time but it's my nephews 18th on the 9th so we're going paint ball. least it'll give me more time to get my kit sorted! Defiantly going to the one in April without fail!

Yeah, I'm stuck deciding on what inflatable sleeping matt to get.
Has to be lightweight & quite compact cause it needs to fit on the bottom of my mrs' bag, if anyone can recommend one then that'll be great.

Hey guys,

Really looking forward to meeting you all at the I'm weekend im another 19 y/o coming in with Briantrubshaw and another one of our friends...we'll be the naughty corner in this meet

There was mention about what us new guys would like to do at the meet. Someone said airguns and cattys are allowed but is anyone bringing a bow? I've got my own home made bow (its rubbish!) And I'm far better with that than with a rifle so I'd really like to have a go with a real bow if that's an option? And again as previously mentioned wouldn't mind having a go at friction fire lighting...never achieved it to date

Wow that would be great thanks a lot!! what bow is it? Ive got like 3 practice arrows left now (the other two broke) so they have rounded tips. ill bring them. We'll have to just improvise a target. Much more fun with a bow than with a rifle if you ask me!

 

[Dreadhead]

Its just a polaris take down recurve, but shoots well enough and i find it more fun than a rifle indeed. has been a while since i have used it will need to get me strings nice and waxed!

This sounds awesome, I haven't used a bow in ages! I'm going to bring some wood so I can start making a buck saw aswell Should be a good weekend!

brian dont know if this helps, we have some woodland maintenance planned which will involve clearing areas of deadwood along with judicial clearing of live wood. most of the wood will be proccessed for the communal fire and people may help themselves for any projects they have...

bring your weapon of choice and join in by all means, the more the merrier.
