Nice pot, but is that not quite a lot for a stainless steel pot ? My Ti mug was a lot less than that....though I do quite fancy a pot that my Ti mug would fit neatly into, like that one.

Interesting link, thank you for the heads up :)

It's the companion pot for the Solo wood stove (Bushbuddy knock off) I think.

I have the ti MSR Kettle which is almost identical, stainless is better to "cook" with though if you don't mind the extra weight.

Sorry to kind of derail the thread Shewie; but I've been reading.
Aluminium with a layered bottom is the best of the bunch to cook on, it's lightweight and the anodising that's done nowadays really helps.
It's cheaper than Ti, lighter than stainless steel, cooks on/in better than both, and it doesn't poison us either, regardless of the shrieks of the panic mongers

It's also easy to work with, so making lids, strainers, shaping a rim to a spout, etc., is all very feasible.

I cleared out our old Bulldog sets a couple of years ago, but I am seriously tempted to look for modern versions with layered bases.

Just saying :)
