New are a Forest Axe, full sized chopping axe, timber broad hatchet and timber broadaxe for woodworking. The Forest Axe sports a 25 1/2" handle with a 6 1/2" x 3 1/2" head. This is very close to the classic Hudson Bay cruising axe. My own Large Hunter has been an ideal compromise; compact enough for carry on my rucksack and just large enough for two handed use. The forest axe should be a natural when full size isn't a problem.
