New Sheath

[Chopper]

I bought a Buck 124 Frontiersman about 15 years ago and have never used it as it came with the usual right handed sheath, being a southpaw (left handed) could not get on with it, so time for a new one but I got carried away and ended up with a belt and smaller pouch as well.




Now all I have to do is find the time to get out there and use them

what is the function of the wrap around bit of leather on the sheath laced up the frount, i have seen them before but i dont know what they do?

I think that the original design was a seperate sheath and a frog (belt hanger), like you would find with a sword or bayonet.

I just liked the design, and as I said, I got a bit carried away.

I dont think so, as I said, I bought the knife about fifteen years ago and I made the sheath two weeks ago.

Ah, got ya, I didnt think that anyone else was mad enough to buy a machete like this.

I really dont know why I bought it in the first place, maybe the testoserone was flowing at the time.
