Thought I´d show a finished knife, that is about to get some scrimshaw.

Blade from Thomas Löfgren, one of the top knifemakers in Sweden. Handle in 5mm silver, alternative ivory, stabilized birch. The motive for the scrim is going to be a tiger that I sketched for my wife many years ago. It´s a little bit of a dream come through as I always wanted this image on a knife. The birch part of the handle is choosen as it gives the impression of both tiger stripes and it´s natural surrounding.

Thanks for looking!

I was lucky to catch one of 5 I belive he made in a small batch. So it´s not made from my order. I think he will make some more in the future, I don´t know if he takes commission in making them. But I will ask, as this blade is the most pleasant blade I build a knife on for a long time. Really fancy lines and the steel is really good (AEB-L)

Thanks for your kind words!

An elegant knife indeed but if I'm honest I preferred it without the embellishment.

Clearly though the artwork is important to you and that's all that really matters.

May we see the sheaf?

Cheers
