Some pics of my work (pic heavy)

First the first made Dolphin Bushie blade, it was sold even before it was built.
Blade 4mm 01 steel, birch with tin inlays and mosaicpins.

Next a scandi, blade from Nylund brothers in Finland, birch and reindeer antler

Another scandi with a blade bought over on BB, reindeer antler, masurbirch and brass.

Next is one commission from Italy, very specific spec and very fun to build. The text on the white parts is scrimshaw. Blade is Sandvik 12C27, handle in black oak and alternative ivory, tin inlays and 5mm silver in front and back.

A small knife, neckknife that is built on a Polar 62 carbon blade, 62mm length and handle ~70mm Birch

Another scandi with an RB forged blade, black oak and alternative ivory, tin inlays.

This blade is made by Dan Andersson, brass inlays and birch, barkcolored in the middle piece.

Sandvik 12C27, barkcolored birch.

Well, there is more to see, but I think this will do for a while

Thank you! Here is what I could dig up, It was sold in middle of January so I have to go on my notes.

Blade is of carbon steel 90mm lenght rubbed it to 400 grit just to give it a nice finish.

Handle with brass bolster, bark colored and linseed oiled masur birch, reindeer antler and black, white spacer total lenght 118mm and this one is thin, only 13mm width!

Sheath made of shaft leather colored black.

TO my ignorant eyes I think if the first one was owned by me it would get used as it is a nice, functional one. The third one I think is really beautiful and if I owned it I think the term would be drawer queen (see I'm learning). Anyway if I win the lottery expect a year's worth of employment from me. Until then I'll just keep looking at your work on your website.

I will try to answer your questions as good as I can. Regarding pricerange it´s from ~50GBP for the neckknife type, up to 80-120 GBP for eg 2 and 3 picture, the top one type is going for 135 GBP right now, commissions vary a lot and depends on so many factors that I can´t give you a precise pricing on that. It is currently hard economic times both for makers and buyers, and it´s sometimes difficult to find a good price level that suits both byer and seller.

Thank you for your kindness! When I first started building knives on a more regular basis back on 2004, I sat and watch photos on other knifemakers knives and wondered "how in earth do they do it so well" and "I can never do That". And I didn´t either...before I tried. I still have a long way to go, but today I can do the things I didn´t think I ever would be able to create.
So never say never!

Thanks you! This is actually one of my favourite blade to build user knives from, It is made by Jakob Nylund, one of two young brothers that are very talent knifemaker´s in Finland. The lines are in my opinion so close to ideal they can be. And razor sharp!

This is another one with same type of blade, and this is a keeper! I built this knife for my own use, thinking of my wife during the building process. Everything reminds me of her, the shapes in the handle, the smooth feel on the high level sanding surface on the birch handle, the stars on the sheath is for she is my starlighter...I could go on forever

Sometimes building knives is like poetry.

Just wanted to say that Karl-Eriks workmanship is second to none. I Absolutely love my knife and Karl-Erik is a great guy to deal with.

No connection etc but just got all excitable seeing a pic of my knife there, keep up the good work Karl-Erik!
